Swinburne University of Technology's six campuses can be found in and around Melbourne. The main campus, Hawthorn, lies eight kilometers from the city center, in one of the most beautiful areas of Melbourne. Close by, is Glenferrie Road with cafes, shopping areas, book stores, and a grocery store. The Faculty of Design and the National Institute of Circus Arts are on the Prahran campus, six kilometers from the city center. The campus is distinguished for its lively creative atmosphere. Around here students will find restaurants, night clubs, and shopping centers, keeping up with the most modern trends and styles. 40 Kilometers away is the peaceful Lilydale campus, where students can learn in a friendly atmosphere. It lies directly on Lake Lilydale with accommodation options, a restaurant, and research institutions. Nearby is a large shopping center.
