Description of the Regents Business School
The main focus at Regents Business School in London is on providing an excellent education, by providing its students the necessary tools to be successful during and post the study period, when they enter into the Economics world. The class-size is 25, and this allows the students to receive a more personal education. Internships are also offered so that the students receive practical experience. Due to the new environment, students usually have a stressful time, initially, therefore, a tutor is provided to the student to assist with the transition phase. There are also many forms of extra curricular activity available to the student. Downtown London is a wonderful place, which has just about anything for everyone.

Location of the Regents Business School
Regents Business School's campus lies in Regent´s Park, in London's center. This is completely advantageous to the student, as they will experience, entirely, the dynamic culture and lifestyle of London. The park itself is very green and peaceful, with classrooms around the perimeter. The main campus lies in a very well-taken care of area, with tennis and basketball courts. Regent´s Park also has the Open-Air-Theater, and the world-famous London Zoo. The school offers facilities, such as music rooms, a library, computer rooms, cafeteria, an Internet cafe, bar, piano room, and a dark room. Additional facilities include volleyball courts and dance studios. Nearby, students have a rental store in which one may rent, for example tennis rackets.

London has 7.5 million inhabitants and is the capital of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The city spans over 45 kilometers along the River Thames in southeast England on the island of Great Britain. Being situated in the temperate zone, summers are usually not too hot and winters never too cold since temperatures fall scarcely below the freezing point. There is so much to see in London, for instance the British Museum in Bloomsbury with more than six million exhibits or the National Gallery at Trafalgar Square. Other well-known museums and exhibitions are, amongst others, Madame Tussaud´s Waxworks or the National History Museum. You can also visit the Royal Family´s residences such as St. James´s Palace where the Prince of Wales lives or Buckingham Palace, the Queen´s residence, with the changing of the guard, a ritual that is well-known throughout the whole world. Interesting buildings are Saint Paul´s Cathedral, the Tower of London or London Bridge. It is situated on the site of the only bridge that crossed the Thames in the city until the end of the 18th century. The best known tower is the bell tower which is 98 meters tall and belongs to Big Ben, a part of the Palace of Westminster, seat of the English Parliament. Hyde Park is one of the most popular parks in the city and contains the Marble Arch and Speakers´ Corner. It has once been called “London´s Lung”. Nightlife and shopping opportunities are countless in the metropolis; there is something for everyone´s liking.

Description:

International students have the opportunity to visit the Regents Business School for one or two semesters. They will take part in the same curriculum as other students, and collect credits that can subsequently be incorporated into the normal course of study in their country. They can choose between all Bachelor and Master programs of study.

Every student gets their own class schedule during the orientation week that contains the lesson times and places.

Applicants who wish to attend the school for one or two semesters should make sure if the credits he or she will gain there can be later transferred to the institution back home. Furthermore, it is required that they have a high school diploma.

Accomodation of the Regents Business School
Campus dorms

Reid Hall, a student dormitory, has a beautiful view of the lake and park. Students are placed either in single, double, or triple rooms. Every room has a bed, night table, closet, desk, chairs, and lamps. Bed sheets are also provided. Washing machines are available. Bathrooms are shared.

Oliver Hall, is another dormitory on campus, which has double rooms. The room is equipped similarly.

Residence Information

Private apartment / hotel

The International Student House is an alternative to dormitories, and lies 15 minutes from the school. The Belsize House, only two underground train stops away, is another option. A room in a double room setting, including breakfast and dinner costs £ 100 per week.

Students interested in renting an apartment must seek an agent. There is a listing at the Student Services Office. Normally, the minimum rental time is six months. A studio costs about £ 190 per week. A single room apartment, between £ 220 and £ 250. Two rooms from £ 350, and three rooms for £ 450. Thew further away the apartment is from campus, the less expensive it will be. Is is recommended that students be in London at least two weeks before the beginning of the semester to seek accomodation. While searching, students can also stay at a hotel or hostel.

Living with a host family is nothing less than advantageous for the student. This option allows the student to become familiar with culture and lifestyle as well as language. Normally, the families live right outside London's city center. The cost is about £ 110 per week, with meals.
