Griffith College, Dublin offers different types of full or part-time classes. One can select a course study program from areas in law, business, journalism and media, computer science, or design. All studies here are internationally recognized, and are taught by competent professors, whose goal is is to make their students' education rich and valuable. One has the opportunity, however, to be involved in other activities, such as sports. For example, Soccer, basketball, rugby, darts, sailing, or hockey. In addition, one has the opportunity to take part in the "Toastmasters," that meet twice a month for discussion, or other clubs like paint ball, hip-hop, poker, and drama.

Griffith's seven-acre campus in Dublin, is composed of various carefully-restored historic buildings, and lies only a kilometer from Dublin's state park, St. Stephen´s Green. To reach the city center, it is also only a kilometer away, and one should take advantage of the good local traffic connections. On campus, there is a restaurant and a bar, a lounge room with ping-pong and pool, a store, and a fitness room.

Dublin has about 1,2 Million inhabitants - which is almost 40 % of the Irish population – and is thus the Republic of Ireland´s biggest city. Where Liffey River and O´Connell Street, Grafton Street and Harcourt Street meet lies the beautiful city centre with many bridges, shops and St. Stephens Green; you can relax here after an exhausting shopping or sightseeing trip. Dublin´s climate is maritime which means that winters are mild and summers rather cool. Normally, extreme temperatures do not occur. Visitors who are interested in culture have the opportunity to choose between several museums, theatres and galleries, such as the National Museum or the Abbey Theatre. Nightlife is also very exciting: Dublin offers many nightclubs, pubs and restaurants; especially the Temple Bar Quarter can be recommended.

Campus apartments
Griffith College, Dublin offers high-quality accomodation at Griffith Halls of Residence, that is directly on campus and merely a ten-minute foot walk from St. Stephen´s Green, Dublin's state park.
Griffith Halls of Residence offers comfortable and modern living in a historic building. It is constantly surveillance, and offers, in the two apartment buildings, a total of 183 apartments.
Available are single-room apartments, double-room apartments (for two or three people), or three-bedroom apartments (for up to five people.) Every apartment has Internet access, and satellite T.V., free of charge. Washing and drying machines are available for use. The apartments themselves are completely furnished and each have a private bathroom and kitchen. In the kitchen, the student has a microwave, oven and a refrigerator. For those who have a car, there are are a total of 400 parking spaces in the garage.

€ 2.800 per Semester, for a single apartment within a multi-resided apartment

Private accomodation during study at Griffith College, Dublin must be sought out on one's own. Of course, it may be that this type of housing may be more expensive than accomodation at the Halls of Residence. One should also inform one's self about any hidden costs such as deposits, additional electricity costs, and acquaint one's self with the rent agreements.
Whoever is interested in other accomodation should schedule a visit to the city with plenty of time before the beginning of the semester, for availability purposes.
